Nike Cortez & Vintage
In 1972 Nike’s guru, Bill Bowerman, knew that athletes needed a well-cushioned shoe that could take the punishment of 100 miles per week pounding the pavement. The first model was made with leather but he quickly figured out how he could reduce the weight by using nylon combined with suede. The Cortez introduced the first full-lenght, dual-density foam midsole for comfort and shock absorption. And there it was, a Bowerman-designed running icon, casting a rapidly-moving shadow across the running world for years to come.
And we have the biggest collection of Cortez ever in our dedicated Cortez space where you will also find a brief overview of Cortez history. Come check it out!
Also we’ve got in these vintage Nikes
We know these are not the first vintage like Nike’s you’ve seen around but they are really nice and perfect for summer! Choose between the killshot with mesh and red swoosh or the all leather tennis classic with green details.

The Cortez is pretty much the greatest running shoe of all time. Back in the day it wasn’t all about fancy & hip designs it was about classic style and functionality. Cortez shoes are the ultimate Nike Classic.
